Wired or wireless smart home: which iNELS system is right for you?
iNELS comes in two families. The stage of your building decides which one fits best.
iNELS, the smart installation from ELKO EP, controls lighting, air conditioning, shutters, heating and scenes from wall buttons and a phone app. It comes in two families: iNELS BUS (wired) and iNELS Wireless (RF). Both are reliable; the right choice depends mostly on your building.
Choose iNELS BUS (wired) when
- The villa or building is still under construction or before finishing, so a bus cable can run to each room.
- You want the most expandable system: many rooms, many circuits, hotel-style control.
- You prefer actuators grouped neatly in the distribution board.
A central unit runs the system, and switching, dimming and shutter actuators sit on the DIN rail. Glass buttons and thermostats on the walls connect over the two-wire bus.
Choose iNELS Wireless (RF) when
- The home is already finished and you do not want to break walls or tiles.
- You want to start small, with one room or a few lights, and add more later.
- You are upgrading an apartment.
Small wireless units fit behind existing switches or in the ceiling. Wireless glass controllers stick to the wall anywhere, with no cable.
Can I mix them?
Yes. A wired BUS installation can include wireless units for places cables cannot reach, and both work in the same app.
